SHIPPING POLICY

Your order is our top priority and will be ensured to delivery at

the earliest possible opportunity.
SMELAN offers both standard and express delivery

within Australia, using Australia Post.


Free shipping for orders over $100. Please allow 1-3 business days for
your order to be processed before being dispatched.


Please note, during sale, promotional, and peak periods orders may take
longer than usual to be processed and dispatched. During these periods,
please allow an additional 3-5 business days for your order to be
processed.


Standard Delivery refers to the shipping method with Australia Post after
your order has been processed and dispatched.

Standard estimated delivery timeframes commence once your order has been forwarded to the courier.

We are currently partnered with Australia Post for all orders within Australia.
Express Shipping • Orders over $100 Metro: 1 business day FREE
Express Shipping • Orders under $100 Metro: 1 business day $12 AUD
Standard Shipping • Orders under $100 Metro: 3-5 business day $14 AUD

Stolen and Damaged Parcels


SMELAN is not responsible for any stolen or missing parcels once an order has been delivered to the nominated address.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

RETURNS ELIGIBILITY

​

We accept returns provided that:

  • Items are returned unworn, unwashed, unused, and in their original condition

  • All original tags remain attached

Items that do not meet these conditions will be returned to the customer at an additional shipping cost.


REFUNDS

​

  • You have 35 days from your order being shipped to request your return.

  • Refunds are available on full-priced online purchases only

  • Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for a refund

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the amount paid

Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.

EXCHANGES 

​

Due to the limited quantities and high sell-through of our collections, we’re unable to offer direct exchanges.

If you require a different size or style, we recommend placing a new order to secure availability. You may then return your original purchase in accordance with our return conditions.

Once your return is approved, you may choose between:

  • A refund to your original payment method, or

  • A store credit / voucher to use on a future purchase

This allows flexibility while ensuring you don’t miss out on your preferred item.

FAULTY ITEMS RETURN

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team at
renatasmelan@smelan.com.au within a reasonable timeframe, including:

  • Your order number

  • Clear images showing the fault

Our team will review your request and work to resolve the matter as a priority.

GIFT CARD

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Gift cards are valid for 2 years from the date of issue

 

FINAL SALE

Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

In the rare event of a faulty Final Sale item, please contact our Customer Care team for assessment and approval before returning the item.

 

PRE ORDER

Selected styles may be available for pre-order. Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

  • Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase

  • Pre-order items cannot be exchanged prior to delivery

  • Standard return conditions apply once the item has been delivered

  • Estimated delivery dates are indicative and may change due to factors beyond Smelan’s control

RETURNS COST

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Australian customers may purchase return labels via our returns portal

  • Smelan cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed return parcels

PROCESSING YOUR RETURN:

  • You will receive an email notification once your return has been received

  • Please allow 3–5 business days for processing

  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank

  • A confirmation email will be sent once your return is complete
